Very well run with many amenities such as paddle boards, kayaks, a canoe, small paddle boat, and a meticulously maintained beach with a floating dock to enjoy. There are outdoor games for family, corn hole and ladder ball. If the weather isn't cooperating, then "The Rec Room" is available with a pool table, darts, games for the kids, and a big screen TV! The trailers are first rate, and the layout and landscaping of the area is very well thought out. The owner, Greg and Sharalyn, are always available, very friendly, and want your stay to be the best it can be, and it shows! Thank you for an amazing experience, and we can't wait to come back next year!
My family and I had the best time here and we cannot wait to be back again. The attention to detail from our host, Greg, made us appreciate the resort even more. When it poured on one of the days we were there, he gave everyone a storage box where we can store our shoes in and prevent it from getting soaked. He also built us outdoor hanging racks for our wet clothes after spending time at the beach. He welcomed us warmly and showed us around the area the moment we got there. Spruce Lake resort is a gem itself, but when you have people like Greg as a host, the experience just gets even better!
This place is magical!!! We brought our exchange student from France to experience Glamping in Kenora… they had such a blast spent the day in the water with all the toys kayak & paddle boards and evenings in the rec room!!!! Greg is an amazing host made us feel so comfortable and RVs are clean fully equipped and so well planned! Thank you for an incredible weekend!!!
Best and cleanest campground by a quiet lake. Very well maintained, kids friendly, and water toys.
Spruce lake resort is an amazing place for families to stay! The camper was so beautiful! My family enjoyed everything about the resort! My boys loved everything you can do at the resort! My We will definitely be back next year and hopefully bring some friends with us!! We stayed in Glamping site #1
Such a wonderful place. It really has everything you need. Just need to bring beach towels and food. The view was beautiful. A great place for families. We cant wait to come back again!
Camper #1 had everything we needed and more! Bed was comfortable and was great to relax around the fire outside, with the veiw of the lake in sight. Fishing was incredible and kids had a blast on the kayaks and paddle boat. We want to try every trailer so we will be back to explore more! Thanks for a fabulous vacation 😀
I really don't have enough positive adjectives to adequately describe this awesome resort! Greg and Sharalyn have designed and created a retreat spot that is as beautiful and very well cared for as they are welcoming! Our trailer was very clean and had various amenities, including kitchen necessities, plus a clean bbq with utensils on our own patio. Greg and Sharalyn have created a lovely beach (with raft!), a great playground for young guests, as well as outdoor games access and an indoor Rec Room for rainy days. Use of paddle boats and kayaks is included in the fee, and they provide life jackets. Greg was quick to respond to a few queries I had and all the guests who were at the Resort while we were there got the "well-cared for" vibe and people were quiet and respectful at all times. I highly recommend Spruce Lake Resort and will definitely be returning! Thanks Greg and Sharalyn for a great holiday!
We decided to try new camping this summer, so we tried spruce lake resort. We found this site from air bnb. It looked clean, neat, and very enjoyable. The atmosphere when we arrived was refreshing and welcoming. It was definitely refreshing and amazing. The RV was clean like brand new. Everything was in RV already. There were cutleries, kitchen towels, BBQ grill utensils, oven trays, and even coffee machine. The private lake site was quiet and family friendly. Stand up paddle boat, pedal boat for 4, and bunch of kayaks. Life jackets were durable, and very safe as well. Lake water was clean and clear. I heard someone saw turtles from the lake too. Bbq machines were easy to use. Just one thing to be cautious is, when we were using bbq machine for making burgers, we opened RV windows for ventilation, then the smoking detector started to beep. I recommend to close all windows before using bbq machines. Refrigerator works perfectly well. It was able to freeze my water / keep foods cold. Greg (the owner) was very helpful on showing his RVs and the sites. He is a gentleman. He has good communication skills and fast on questions through emails. Over all 11/10 trip for me. I would definitely come back. Huge thanks for greg for hosting us!
We had the most fabulous couple days enjoying all the activities - non-stop paddle boarding, peddle boating, kayaking, canoeing and jumping off the dock! Everything is there, ready for you to try. The shed full of life jackets was a pleasant surprise as someone who forgot ours. The lake was warm, clean and quiet, and we enjoyed getting to know the old turtle who lives in the lake! We will be back again for sure! Thank you for the amazing stay!
very beautiful and best place for getaways.. RV is so clean the view of the lake is stunning and the host Greg is so accommodating and courteous. I highly recommend this place for getaways and definitely will be back next year.

We enjoyed out stay so much that we extended it by one day. Greg and Sharalyn are fantastic hosts. Very attentive friendly and accommodating. The site had gorgeous views of the lake and wonderful landscape. Glamping certainly does take the bull work out of camping. The RV was comfortable. Wonderful amenities. Surprised that the shower was so big for an RV. Peaceful setting. Loved sitting on the deck listening to the lunes in the evening. Perfect for families with young children or teenagers. Also relaxing for empty nesters and retirees like ourselves. We plan to go back. HIghly recommended this wonderful resort that is complete with water toys and a games room for rainy days. Perfect!
Spruce Lake Resort was the perfect family getaway! The RV was in perfect condition and was spotless. There were many pillows and blanketsand the main large bed was very comfortable but the bunks mattresses were quite thin so not as cozy. Overall it was really a beautiful RV. Each site haD a nice sized BBQ, firepit and additional seating. There were ladderball and cornhole games as well as paddleboards, kayaks, swimming dock and beautiful beach/lake that kept the kids (10 &15) busy and entertained for hours everyday and we enjoyed sitting on the pier each evening. There were plenty of chairs and picnic tables by the beach as well. We had fun playing pool and darts in the Rec Room when it rained! The clear signage around the Resort common areas was really appreciated. The only thing to note is that there is no drinking water on site but it is a short 10 minute drive to town to buy supplies. Greg was very quick to respond to any questions and was very welcoming. We LOVED Spruce Lake Resort and plan to return with a few families next summer!
